Not much water but as the wind had been blowing all day and still seemed pretty good I just had to get in.

Rigged the 5m, along with Dave and Sarah and headed off across the sands with my little wave board. There really wasn't much water so after a few short attempts in the channel on this side I headed off towards the main channel by Aberdovey where there was a couple of other guys (Mark and someone else) out sailing.

I sailed across to Aberdovey but realised that there was nowhere near enough wind on that side of the estuary. They were out on bigger kit and still struggling in the lulls. I then had to swim part way back to find enough wind to waterstart and then sailed back into the channel on the Ynyslas side. There was now more water so I was at last able to have a good session blasting up and down in the channel. Super smooth water in some place, big chop elsewhere.

Dave and Sarah though better of it and packed up and I continued on into the evening until I snapped a harness line.
